GitHub Integration

NodeKAT integrates with GitHub to search code across your repositories, navigate symbol definitions and references, and extract markdown/text files into your knowledge graph for RAG — all through a real-time agent.

Code Search

Regex-based code search across your indexed repositories.

Symbol Navigation

Find symbol definitions and references across your codebase with language-aware search.

Repository Extraction

Extract and ingest markdown, text, and documentation files from selected repositories into your knowledge graph.

Organization Scoping

All searches are automatically scoped to your configured GitHub organization with repo-level exclusion support.

To set up the GitHub integration, you’ll need:

  • A GitHub organization with repository access
  • A GitHub Personal Access Token (PAT) with repo and read:org scopes
  • A NodeKAT instance running and accessible

Once you’ve created the PAT, provide it to your NodeKAT administrator who will configure the connector.
